Actualmente nuestro pa\u00eds dispone de una base productiva de 940 mil hect\u00e1reas en frutas y hortalizas y el \u00e1rea cosechada ha crecido a una tasa del 2,4% anual, en los \u00faltimos 6 a\u00f1os. Le puede interesar: Combinaciones de frutas y otros alimentos que pueden ser peligrosas<\/p>\n<p><strong>Las frutas como opci\u00f3n de crecimiento para la econom\u00eda colombiana.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Las comercializadoras internacionales en Colombia brindan la oportunidad de agrupar a varios proveedores de un mismo sector, permitiendo as\u00ed investigar mercados, buscar nuevas oportunidades de negocios, asesorar en adecuaci\u00f3n de productos, exportar como mayoristas en mercados exigentes y determinados, fomentando el desarrollo econ\u00f3mico y social del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Por esta raz\u00f3n y gracias a los tratados de libre comercio que tiene Colombia y a diferentes estudios de mercados, se considera que el sector de las frutas tiene grandes oportunidades de crecer en el mercado internacional.<\/p>\n<p>En los resultados arrojados por la investigaci\u00f3n se identifica a Colombia como noveno proveedor de frutas ex\u00f3ticas del mundo. Sus exportaciones han presentado en los \u00faltimos tres a\u00f1os un crecimiento principalmente en uchuva, tomate de \u00e1rbol, tamarindo y granadilla.<\/p>\n<p>Los principales destinos de las exportaciones de estos productos son: Pa\u00edses Bajos, Alemania y B\u00e9lgica. Siendo Colombia uno de los principales exportadores as\u00ed mismo de una oferta importante de pitaya, gulupa y baby banana.<\/p>\n<p>El Ministerio de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural, constituy\u00f3 una estrategia exportadora de largo plazo, enmarcada en la Visi\u00f3n 2019. Identifica los diez grupos de productos de mayor potencial para la exportaci\u00f3n, con miras a incursionar con una oferta sostenida y de calidad en los mercados internacionales.<\/p>\n<p>Incluye entre otros, el establecimiento y posicionamiento de diferentes especies frut\u00edcolas de ciclo largo como pitahaya, mango, bananito, lima tahit\u00ed, aguacate y feijoa y de ciclo intermedio como uchuva, pi\u00f1a golden, maracuy\u00e1, gulupa, lulo, mora, tomate de \u00e1rbol y granadilla para el periodo 2006-2020.
